Taken on the front of the Havana's Railroad Station, Old Havana, Cuba.

There is a park filled with old steam locomotives, and that day some mechanics where restoring it to send it to a railroads museum. Immediately I thought "Hey, there is a dA community called The Yard, I think the guys there will appreciate some photos of the process" :D

Gear used: Nikon S2, Nikkor 50mm/f1.4, Fuji Superia 100.

Of interest to the Yard alright :sherlock: but also of interest to rail fans, along with several other images in your gallery. I shall point some other deviants in your direction =D

Oh, thank you so much!

Me and ~iDoux are huge train nerds :p, so every time we have the opportunity shows up we took a few pics of trains, train stations and so. The last time they kick us from the city’s train station for been there taking photograph. Looks like is forbidden... :(

We will be honored with your visit! Cuba is regarded a photography heaven for many world photographers.

I suggest that you first Google "Photography in Cuba" to see the opinions of many foreign photographers that have been here. We have a big part of the capital city that still keeps its colonial architecture, and people and places are also very interesting to photograph. And we are talking only about the capital. I'm planning to do a phototrip to some of the country little villages to shot their everyday life.

I'll keep you posted. :)

From what I've seen of Cuba on TV and in books, it looks so amazingly beautiful.

I look forward to seeing more of your work, and beyond Havana =D
