I find even when I take breaks from photography, once I pick up the camera again I'm always looking at things in a different way, whether it's with me at the time or not. It can be especially interesting when you take a trip with a friend who's also got a camera on them, and see who gets what pictures when you go. Sometimes I'll find he'll stop at completely different times than me, because he's seen something I overlook, and vice versa. It usually makes us comment on everything we see, and go back and shoot things we missed, kinda fun.
I rather be alone when I'm doing street photography, it helps me concentrate a lot. But I often go out to photograph with ~iDoux, and he doesn't get in my way at all. It's very comfortable been with him while photographing.
Most of the time I'd rather be on my own too but sometimes it's more fun to have another photographer around, when you're able to relax around each other.
I bet it'd be fun to live in the building with that tree!
